“We have a heavy heart.”
It is with these words that the Arnault Tzanck Institute in Mougins is officially expressed on the brutal disappearance of Amber and Clémence, two Var nurses died following a terrible frontal collision this Wednesday morning on the A8 motorway.
“Ambre and Clémence were fully engaged in their profession, recognized for their humanity and their professionalism. Their disappearance deeply upsets their colleagues, the whole establishment and all those who had the chance to rub shoulders”is it still indicated in an Instagram post.
Always together, at work as well as outside …
Residents of the East Var, these two mothers (one is a mother of three children aged 5, 8 and 11; the other recently returned from maternity leave) were inseparable from their work colleagues. Both within the intensive care service at the Hope Clinic, with patients who have undergone a large surgical operation, as in life after work.
“It was like Tic and Tac, one did not go without the other. They worked together, but they also spent weekends together”underlines a friend.
“Amber and Clémence, it was a hell of a pair!adds a colleague. They were always smiling, the patients loved them, and the staff knew that one could always count on them. The intensive care unit was! “
Amber and Clémence, two young women united by work and friendship … even in death.
