Ninja Theory officially announced that the highly anticipated Sijlast: Hellblade II On the PlayStation 5 on August 12, 2025. This announcement finally confirms the beginnings of the Action Adventure Xbox game acclaimed by criticism on the Sony platform. The release of Hellblade II on PS5 will also coincide with a major “enhanced” update for the Xbox Series S | X and the PC.
Improved publishing ofHellblade IIwill bring many improvements, including a new performance mode at 60 FPS for the whole game, with the exception of the Xbox Series S. This is a big step forward compared to the limit of 30 FPS with the dynamic resolution, where the game sometimes fell below the targeted framerate during graphically intensive scenes.
PC players will also be able to enjoy a new “very high” graphic preset, which pushes the already impressive graphics of Hellblade II. Steam Deck users will be happy to learn that the game will be checked by Steam Deck on the same day as improved edition.
In addition to graphic and performance improvements, Hellblade II offers new game content, such as the return of the Dark Rot mode of Hellblade : Senua’s Sacrifice. The black rot develops and extends to the head of Senua, which leads to the loss of all progression in the game.
The game also presents an updated photo mode, with tools such as the “motion tab” for the capture of kinematics. Four hours of comments from developers are also included in improved edition, which allows players to better understand the development of the psychedelic atmosphere of Hellblade II.
Improved publishing ofHellblade IIwill be launched on August 12, 2025 on PlayStation 5, with a standard edition at $ 49.99 for the basic game. The Deluxe edition, at a price of $ 69.99, also includes an optimized version for the PS5 of Hellblade : Senua’s Sacrifice and a copy of his soundtrack.
