Florida | A Canadian citizen dies as he is held by the ICE

Johnny Noviello, a 49 -year -old Canadian citizen who was detained in Florida by the agency responsible for the application of immigration laws and customs, was found lifeless on Monday. The cause of his death remains to be determined.




The Canadian was detained at the detention center of the Miami federal prisons office, pending expulsion procedures, when he was found inanimate, according to a declaration of immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). A medical team has moved to their rescue immediately and tried to revive it, without success, still according to the ICE declaration.

Johnny Noviello, a well-known painkiller of painkillers from the Florida authorities, arrived in the United States on January 2, 1988 regularly, with regard to visa law, according to the ICE. He became a permanent resident of the United States on October 24, 1991.

In October 2023, Johnny Noviello was sentenced in the county of Volusia, Florida, for racketeering, traffic from 7 to 14 g of oxycodone, traffic from 4 to 14 g of illegal drugs, hydrocodone traffic and illegal use of a two -way communication device to facilitate the commission of an offense.

He was sentenced to 12 months in prison.

On May 15, 2025, Johnny Noviello was arrested by the ICE at the Florida Correctional Services Probation Office, where agents gave him an appearance and ordered his expulsion.

He was convicted of violation (or conspiracy or attempted violation) of a law or regulation of a state, the United States or a foreign country, relating to a controlled substance.

According to Floridian media, the trafficker was also arrested in 2017 with his father, Angelo Noviello. They were then co -owners of a second -hand car dealer in Daytona Beach, according to Daytona Beach News-Journal.

The father was notably accused of having sold and delivered morphine; The son was accused of offenses related to oxycodone, methadone and hydromorphone traffic, among others.
