The date is fixed! On July 16, 2025, the town of Castelmaurou will be pleased to see the Tour de France pass, one of the most emblematic sporting events, on its land. The passing hours are: around 1 p.m. for the advertising caravan, and around 3 p.m. for runners.
Joy
It is a real pride for the inhabitants, as for elected officials, that the municipality appears on the layout of this legendary competition, followed each year by millions of spectators in France and in the world. The municipality, in collaboration with the services of the municipality, local associations, schools and merchants, actively prepares for this exceptional day. Festive entertainment and friendly atmosphere will be there to make this July 16 an unforgettable moment for all.
Restrictions
Some traffic and parking restrictions will be set up for this event. To allow the smooth running of the stage, part of the following roads will be concerned: the Albi road (RD888), the Cammas route (RD77), the Lavalette route (RD77H and RD77). Parking will be prohibited from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Traffic will be prohibited from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. (except accredited vehicles, rescue and security). It will be asked to release the public highway from any vehicle, object or personal equipment during this period.
Animations
Several activities will be organized and an exhibition will take place. On July 16, at the bowling alley, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Associations Cyclo-Club Les Violettes and 2 feet 2 wheels will join forces to offer entertainment. The festival committee will also be present with drinks and catering. From July 1 to August 16, the L’Alphab media library will host an exhibition dedicated to the history of the Tour de France.
