After more than 25 years spent in the service of the town of Villecroze, regis Mallet, a well known and appreciated figure of all, has drawn its professional bow to take advantage of a fully deserved retirement.
Arrived in the town hall in 1998 on a solidarity employment contract, Regis was established in 2004. Despite a heavy handicap due to a motorcycle accident as well as a binding diabetes, he never gave up. On the contrary: every day, he showed exemplary courage and remarkable rigor in his work.
Always smiling, available, helpful, regis was applied with care to maintain the village, watching for what remains clean, welcoming and pleasant for all. His sense of detail, his discretion and his benevolence marked his colleagues as the inhabitants. Married, father of six children and grandfather of seven grandchildren, he knew how to reconcile family life and professional commitment with a quiet force that forges respect.
To greet him, the municipality organized a friendly starting pot for him, in the presence of his colleagues, friends and elected officials, during which an envelope was given to him as a thank you for all these years of service.
