In the columns of Figaro, Marius Trésor, legend of the French team between 1971 and 1983, confided his disarray in the face of the behavior of certain players for several years now.

Retired from football courts since 1984, after a legendary career between AC Ajaccio, Olympique de Marseille and the Girondins de Bordeaux, but especially with the French team (65 selections), Marius TrĂ©sor continues to have a wise eye on the round ball. At 75, the former central defender engaged in Le Figaro, notably referring to the “terrible” situation of Bordeaux in National 2.

Above all, the 1984 French champion regrets the behavior of certain players on French lawns. “What puts me out of me is to see boys trying to intimidate the referee by dropping in particular. There are too many cinema actors today in football” regretted Marius TrĂ©sor. “Before, when a player stayed on the ground, it was that he had really received a blow. Now we do everything to make the opposing team disabled. I find it deplorable” he then compared.

“In a football match, when I see a boy expelled on a small fault because the other twists on the ground, it is no. Perhaps these behaviors lead to a disinterestedness. Sometimes, we are witnessing very good games. But, when that does not suit me, I zap and I watch a film instead” rolled out the native of Sainte-Anne (Guadeloupe). As for the financial aspect, the man with 440 division 1 games believes that “this is what kills football”, but that players “are right to accept”, “as long as they find people to pay them”.
