Like its leader Tadej Pogacar, the Portuguese blew the race by taking three of the eight stages their own and ranking second in second place!
Kévin Vauquelin could not compete
Leader before departure, Kévin Vauquelin tried everything, but he could not transcend himself. The Frenchman managed a very good race in the homeland of Marco Odermatt, but the 33 seconds in advance initially melted as snow in the sun under the Nidwaldian heat.
The 24 -year -old tricolor runner can still savor his second place at 1’07 d’Almeida, with the bonus of the best young jersey. Behind, we find the 22 -year -old Briton Oscar Onley at 1’58.
Second in the stage, 24 seconds from Almeida, the Austrian Felix Gall ends 4th. The best Switzerland ranks 43e. It is Mauro Schmid at 55’29.
