Who could have imagined Stefanos Tsitsipas and Alphonse Areola arguing a Brazil jersey signed by Ronaldo himself ? Person. And yet, this Saturday, June 21, the Greek tennis player and the French footballer bored long minutes to leave with this collector’s play, during the charity gala organized by Patrick Mouratoglou each year. Result of the races: they will each leave with a jersey signed by the goat (the greatest player of all time, editor’s note) of Brazilian football, each spending the modest sum of 30,000 euros. In total, nearly 300,000 euros were harvested for the Champ’Seed Foundation, in favor of the young hopes of tennis.
Many celebrities were gathered during the cocktail before gathering for dinner, around the famous racket -shaped swimming pool of the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy. Among them: Marc Lavoine and Adriana Karembeu, more in love than ever. The couple exchanged tender kisses, never moving away at more than 2 meters from each other, while Shy’m did everything to avoid being photographed with Jérémy Frérot.
Resplendent in her long black dress, Diane Leyre, Miss France 2022, was also present. The Youtubers Michou and Nico Capone, the tennis player Richard Gasquet, the swimmer Camille Lacourt, the footballer Adil Rami, the humorist Laurent Baffi and the journalist Philippe Caverivière (without forgetting his dog Virgil!) Since its creation 11 years ago, the Patrick Mouratoglou Foundation has raised nearly 5 million euros and supported many young talents that have become references from the international circuit, such as Stefanos Tsitsipas, Coco Gauff or Holger Rune. This year again, the funds will help accompany the future hopes of world tennis, including Thijs Boogaard, Victoria Barros, Clervie and Carel Ngouloue, Elizaveta Anikina or Nikita Berdin.
