If Paris is the city of love, Venice is undeniably the city of lovers. So Emily Cooper had to go there. Well accompanied. Friday, August 15, Lily Collins, star of the series “Emily in Paris”, was seen in vaporetto in Venice with Eugenio Franceschini, who plays his new Italian contender Marcello, but also Ashley Park (Mindy) and Paul Forman (Nicolas) on the set of the fifth season of the creation of Darren Star (“Sex and the City”).
Filming which should continue in the Venetian city, until August 25, to the delight of the President of the Venetian region, Luca Zaia. On social networks, he was delighted that Venice serves as a decor for the series which, until then, was content to highlight the French landscapes. “We see each other on the set, in our magnificent Venice,” he jubilated.

However, Emily Cooper will return to Paris – Emmanuel Macron fought for that. In the casting of the fifth season, we will therefore find the French actors Philippine Leroy -Beaulieu in the role of the dazzling Sylvie Greteau, Lucas Bravo in the role of Gabriel -despite the public critics he made of the Netflix series -, Samuel Arnold (Julien), Bruno Gouery (Luc) or William Abadie (Antoine).
Camilla Razat (Camille) was not renewed. And the return of Thalia Besson, the daughter of Luc Besson, who played Geneviève, the young woman giving her eye to Gabriel, has not (yet) been confirmed. On the other hand, a new French actress will appear in “Emily in Paris”: Michèle Laroque was chosen to embody a former friend of Sylvie GRATEAU – a (very) secondary role which, however, filled the former companion of François Baroin.
