Three teenagers were injured and transported to hospital after an armed assault on Saturday evening, which occurred in the Saint-Laurent borough.
The event occurred in a park located near the intersection of rue Jules-Poitras and boulevard Deguire, around 9:15 p.m. on the arrival of the police, the three adolescents were all injured in the upper body with a sharp object, reports the police service of the city of Montreal (SPVM).
“The three victims have been transported to the hospital center and we are currently awaiting their state of health,” says Caroline Chèvrefils, Relationist agent for the SPVM. The victims are not identified by the authorities, at this time.
Possible witnesses of the event were encountered by the police, but there is still no arrest concerning this event.
The circumstances surrounding the attacks are currently unknown to the authorities. A perimeter has been erected around the scene so that the investigators can continue their work.
