Where to celebrate Canada’s Day?

A wave of white and red colors will sweep around New Brunswick on Tuesday on the occasion of Canada’s Day celebrations.

Acadia Nouvelle offers an overview of the main activities that will take place in the province.

Bathurst

A full day of family entertainment, music, food and festivities is planned at the Coronation Park.

The opening ceremony with dignitaries will start at 10:45 am and will be followed by musical shows by Roger Savoie & Gizele, Peter Boro’s Family Hearts Club Band and Zakoustik.

Food trucks and a children’s area will also be there.

Edmundston

Canada’s Day will be celebrated in place of the craftsman between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.

The programming includes a family zumba session in the morning, music with artist Daniel Bérubé and a magic show on the South Hour, as well as shows by various artists all afternoon.

Hot-dogs and refreshments will be offered, in addition to inflatable games and makeup for children.

Other similar activities are also scheduled for Tuesday at the New Brunswick botanical garden.

Belle-many

Belle-Baie en Action offers a day of Nigadoo sportplex celebrations.

Campbellton

The Riverside Park will host Canada’s celebrations this year in Campbellton.

The festivities will start at 11 a.m. with the opening ceremony and the hoist of the flag. Cake, music, pony towers, magician, inflatable castle, makeup, friendship on the JC van Horne bridge, dance and fireworks along the Riveraine promenade appear at the celebrations schedule.

In case of rain, the festivities will take place in the civic center.

Saint-Quentin

Shows will also be offered on the stage of the Midi Riverain Park at 4.30 p.m.

Live shows will be offered from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on the main scene with the groups Third Harmony, The Mainlanders, Beauxmont and Matt Mays. The day will end with fireworks at 10:00 p.m.

Dieppe

Canada will also be in the spotlight in Dieppe as part of the festivities to be held in place 1604 on July 1.
