A 34-year-old Polish falls in a crevasse in Mont-Rose
Found living in a crevice of the Mont-Rose glacier this Sunday by mountaineers, the man died of his injuries at the Sion hospital.

A 34-year-old Polish was found this Sunday seriously injured in a crevasse in the Mont-Rose glacier in Zermatt. Alerted by his calls for help, a couple of mountaineers immediately contacted the emergency services.
With the support of an Zermatt air helicopter, the man was out of the crevasse to receive on -site care, before being transported urgently to Sion hospital. Unfortunately, he did not survive his injuries and died in the evening. The circumstances of the drama are still to be determined.
