But Christ Church, a Calvinist Protestant Inspiration Church which has just opened its doors in Washington, clearly intends to cut an influence in the Federal Capital of the United States.
This is Doug Wilson’s latest project, the founder of an ultra -pre -operative congregation in Idaho and one of the leaders of the Christian nationalist movement. Located a stone’s throw from the Capitol, the temple occupies the last floor of a small house on Pennsylvania avenue. On the walls are hung articles to the glory of Ronald Reagan, two large American flags as well as a standard on which is registered « Don’t tread on me » (“Do not walk on me”), a resistance slogan of the time of the American revolution, taken up today by the extreme right. “It’s not our decoration”
