Donald Trump repeats that he would like to organize a summit with Volodymyr Zelensky and Vladimir Putin
The American president, Donald Trump, repeated on Monday that if his meeting with the Ukrainian president was going well, he would organize a meeting with three with the Russian president in an attempt to put an end to the conflict in Ukraine.
“We are going to have a meeting. I think that if everything is going well today, we will have a meeting with three and I think there will be a good chance of putting an end to war when we do it ”said the President of the United States during a meeting with the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, in the oval office, in the White House.
“If we don’t have [sommet] trilateral, the fights continue. If there is one, I think there is a good chance that we end it ”he added. Donald Trump also announced that he would call Russian president Vladimir Putin, after his interviews on Monday.
“We are counting on strong and influential personalities like President Trump and we appreciate them. We hope they will find a diplomatic means of putting an end to this war. We are waiting for a trilateral meeting ”meanwhile, said Volodymyr Zelensky.
