Casio has announced that three new watches in the G-Shock GM-2100 series are about to be marketed in other European countries. The GBM-2100A-2B, GBM-2100A-4B and GBM-2100A-8B analogical-numérical-nomeric Watches were launched in July and are already available in the United Kingdom and Japan.
In countries such as, the Netherlands Espagne and Germany, the GBM-2100A-2B (Blue Dial, Positive LCD screen), the GBM-2100A-4B (Bordeaux dial and inverted LCD screen) and the GBM-2100A-8B (Doré Doré Doré Doré and inverted LCD screen) are offered in the brand’s online store at 249 euros. Potential customers are invited to register on the brand’s broadcast list to be informed of their release by email.
The G-Steel G-Steel GBM-2100A watches from Casio are described as “thin and elegant” with a sleek design. Each has a patterned dial with a steam deposit finish, surrounded by a stainless steel bezel. They have a bracelet and a resin case, measure 9.3 x 44.4 x 11.9 mm (~ 1.9 x 1.7 x 0.5 inches) and weigh 72 g (~ 2.5 oz).
These watches in the GM-2100 series have two analog needles, a medallion display indicating the date and a small indicator dial linked to various functions. These include a chronometer at 1/100th of a second, a countdown and five daily alarms. These timepieces also take care of the universal time, the Tough Solar loading and the Link smartphone based on Bluetooth.
It remains to be seen whether and when these watches Casio G-Shock G-Steel GBM-2100A will be officially marketed in North America. Ancient models such as the GBM2100A-1A2 (blue dial) are available on Amazon at a price of $ 212.99.
