Restructuring, audit: the Bagnard Altis, water specialist and

The difficult situation of Altis Group leads today to a restructuring and an in -depth audit.

The lights went red last year already with a deficit of 1.8 million francs. At mid-June, this year, the group avoided bankruptcy thanks to a 2.5 million loan granted by the town of Val de Bagnes. Shortly after mid-June, a high-tension information session brought together the employees, in order to clarify the situation and promise a correction strategy.

Today, this strategy takes shape.

In a press release, the group announced three departures from management, to finance, digital as well as the director general, presented as resigning. President of the group, Stéphane Luisier did not wish to speak, before the audit launched, delivered his conclusions. This is all the more, he says, that everything must have been going very quickly in the past two months. But he affirms: the restructuring must in particular make it possible to redirect the group’s strategy, with a priority given to the sovereign services under municipal mandates, namely the management of water and energy. Because Altis notably provides public service mandates, for water and energy management, in particular for municipalities in Sembrancher, Bovernier and Val de Bagnes, majority shareholder five group companies.

All measures taken or to be taken must contribute to group recovery and the improvement of group governance. And for the chairman of the board of directors, this great upheaval must also allow to regain confidence. That of customers first, but also that of some 150 employees, in the first lines to be challenged, and who lived several months in a difficult climate, recognizes Stéphane Luisier.

It will also be noted that the current director of innovation and deputy director of Blueark Entremont SA, Yann Rodriguez will serve as an interim general manager. He will be assisted by two delegated administrators, Stéphane Luisier and Florian Perraudin.
