Do you do your shopping at the near 10 euros? : News

The Tour budget has always been a major subject for the French. At a time when purchasing power is decreasing for many homes, we ask ourselves: do your shopping at the nearest 10 euros?

Doing your shopping is a compulsory ritual for all French homes. A task that becomes more and more complicated, especially due to the increase in raw material prices and the drop in purchasing power. If habits change over the years, the balance sheet is almost unanimous.

Two types of people

A study by TF1 explains that 59 % of French people are followers of big races once a week. A habit that particularly affects large families, who therefore favor large quantities and which, thereafter, are organized as the days go on to articulate the menus of the day.

Severine, mother, specifies: “I pay much more attention, I manage my stocks, I manage my way of cooking and suddenly, I find that I throw less and I save money.”

Conversely, 23 % of French people prefer to favor a mode of purchase in droppings which varies according to their culinary desires.

Kadidja, resident of Malakoff in Hauts-de-Seine, explains: “I prefer to do a little every day. Today, I want to eat this, tomorrow, I will want to eat that. Every day, it changes.”

A controlled budget

The survey adds that 14 % of French people do their daily shopping at the nearby euro, 20 % at 5 euros and 31 % at the nearby 10 euros. Only 28 % do not really count their expenses.

On the other hand, these consumers are in common to target promotions in order to benefit from advantageous offers and operations on food.

Nicolas Benoit, French managing director of in-store Media, reveals that “Most of the French people are active in promotions when they do their shopping, with a budget that is controlled, and these are promotions that can easily be found in hyper and super“.
