Friday, they announced that the analyzes carried out in butcheries suspected of being behind this series of poisoning had confirmed traces of contamination by the bacteria E.coli.

The activity of five of the six establishments which had been closed preventively by the authorities remained “Suspended”while the butchery department of a supermarket could resume its activity.

On June 21, the Saint-Quentin prosecutor’s office opened a preliminary investigation by manslaughter, involuntary injuries, endangering and deception aggravated by the endangerment of human health. The public health center of the Paris prosecutor’s office then seized the investigation into these poisoning.
