Trump denies having offered $ 30 billion to Iran to stop his nuclear program

The American president denies information that the United States has offered Iran assistance to develop his civilian nuclear.

No gifts and radio silence. Donald Trump said on Monday “nothing” proposed to Iran and not to discuss with the Tehran authorities after the armed confrontation between Iran and Israel during which the United States has made strikes on Iranian nuclear installations.

“(…) I offer nothing to Iran (…) and I do not even speak to them since we have completely destroyed their nuclear facilities,” he wrote on his social social network.

Donald Trump had already denied information reported by CNN and NBC News on Friday that his administration would have planned to help Iran to obtain $ 30 billion to develop a civil nuclear program in exchange for stopping uranium enrichment.

On Sunday, the director of the International Atomic Energy Agency (AIEA), Rafael Grossi, estimated that Iran could start to produce uranium enriched in a few months, questioning the long -term efficiency of American bombardments on Iranian nuclear infrastructures.

Donald Trump said last Wednesday that his government was planning to have discussions with Iran this week, but the Iranian Minister for Foreign Affairs Abbas Araqchi later said that Iran did not plan to take part in a meeting with the United States.
