A petition was put online on Friday for Disney to save the Quebec adaptation of Simpsonas well as those ofAmerican Dad and Family Guy. “Losing these versions adapted to our linguistic reality would be a huge cultural loss,” we argue. This petition has already obtained the support of several personalities from the artistic environment, including the actress Guylaine Tremblay.

From 35 to 40 affected actors
The one who has been the voice of Bart Simpson since the beginning underlines that the Quebec version of Simpson is an important client within the artistic community. The recordings stretch over about six months and employ 35 to 40 actors, estimates Johanne Léveillé.
“Already with the artificial intelligence that comes, the dubbing industry in Quebec is really in danger,” worried the actress in an interview with The press.
