A victory for public audiovisual. The deputies widely approved this Monday, June 30, a motion of rejection of environmentalists on Monday, June 30 on the reform of public audiovisual, prematurely ending the debates on this project rejected by the employees concerned, on strike, and whose examination has been repeatedly postponed in the hemicycle.

94 deputies approved the motion, against 38. To everyone’s surprise, the national rally joined its votes to those of the left, faced with the sparse ranks of the government coalition. THE “ Cursed text “tabled by the centrist senator Laurent Lafon in April 2023 and carried by the Minister of Culture Rachida Dati, will now leave at second reading in the Senate, who had already adopted it.

“Rachida Dati Resignation,” chanted the employees of public audiovisual on Monday. There were several hundred coming from Radio France, France Télévisions and the Ina to request the withdrawal of the text carried by Rachida Dati. A mobilization which follows several days of strike within the public audiovisual.
