Declared as a delivery of cookies, the package weighed 7 kilos in total. Many mygals did not survive this trip, because they were not transported in suitable conditions, said customs.
At the opening of the package released a pestilential smell, she said. This discovery dates back three weeks, but customs officials only announced it on Monday.
