He is a local hunter who said he was part of the group who abandoned sixty ducks killed in a sector he considered isolated.
According to the elements reported by the Picard mail, the latter explained that he wanted to bury the ducks at the base but that he had ultimately not had time and would therefore have left the carcasses on the spot.
The Amiens prosecutor’s office has nevertheless seized the case and will decide whether judicial consequences will be given while the gendarmerie investigation continues.

The case will surely have a good consequences given the scale that history has been able to take, especially in the local and national media.
However, we can ask ourselves the question of why a group of hunters allows himself to kill nearly 60 ducks if it is to just take the flanks before throwing the rest?
As indicated by the spokesperson for the Federation of Hunters of the Somme, some hunters who are not on the same migration corridors or on the same wetlands do not do that of their whole season.
