In Saint-Contest, the spectators will see the cycling runners very closely! On the occasion of the Tour de France, the Regional Caisse Groupama Center Manche and the community decided to unite their forces to offer a Groupama-FDJ fan on Wednesday July 9, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. This popular and friendly event will offer the public a breathtaking view of the background course and its runners. The day will be hosted by Antoine Besson, sports journalist on Eurosport and passionate about cycling who will make you live intensely 5e stage of the Tour de France 2025.
Official store, giant screen and activities for young and old
This day promises to be animated! From 11 am and throughout the day, on the fan zone, the public will be able to take advantage of the many activities offered: “slot-velo” which thanks to a simulator, makes it possible to advance cars on a course by pedaling or to make a virtual mountain course; a large bicycle circuit for children with awareness of the highway code with provision of balance sheets, bicycles and helmets; A makeup stand for children; Twenty wooden games; A raffle stand with cycling outfit Groupama-FDJ or dedicated jersey signed by Valentin Madouas to win and many gifts to win throughout the day; A Batak prevention stand to test its reflexes; An official shop in the Tour de France with caps and jerseys bearing the effigy of the major summer cycling meeting will also welcome visitors.

A special giant screen of 21 m2 will also be installed for a live retransmission of the stage from 1:30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
To eat, the organizers have everything planned with a dedicated space where will be present:
– Two food trucks with the stoves Pizzas Ludo and Franky La Frite;
– The Calvadosian glacier craftsman Norman chill which will delight all the palaces with its sorbets with a fruit or its ice cream jam;
– the local producer The Farm of La Pommeraye which will offer beers, cider and apple juice.

Bike parking: on site, next to the fan zone. Please note the streets of the following areas will be barred from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.: Madness, maon, galmanche, buron, bitôt and Clos Barbey.
