Many lots

Several lots are targeted by this recall: D0425070 and D0425071 (minimum durability date set for March 10, 2027); D0225095 and D0225096 (April 4, 2027); D0425114 and D0425115 (April 24, 2027); D0225128 and D0225129 (May 7, 2027). These 600 g sachets of frozen potatoes bear the barcode 3560070028054. Codes 33579 or 33477 are attached to it, specifies the government site.

According to the authorities, these “duchess apples” were marketed between March 13 and July 11 in the hypermarkets and supermarkets of the Carrefour group in France.

Carcinogenic compounds?

“It is not possible to be exhaustive and categorical on the risks incurred following the ingestion of these products,” says CONSO recall. The fact remains that according to a study published on the Pubmed site, some HAPs are notably involved in breast, colon or lung cancers.

Customers who have purchased this product are invited not to consume it and bring it in store to obtain a refund. They can also contact customer service from the brand at 08 08 05 90 80 70 for any questions relating to this procedure. This recall will end on September 11.
