More than 6 out of 10 French people believe that France lacks courage against Algeria

Thus, 52% of people affiliated to the left believe that France lacks courage: 50% for LFI, 51% for the PS and 50% among environmentalists. On the side of the presidential majority, 68% of the sympathizers agree with the question asked.

However, the percentages are much higher to the right of the political spectrum. Indeed, they are 83% among the sympathizers of the Republicans to criticize the management of Emmanuel Macron on the Algerian issue. A rate that climbs to 84% for voters of the national rally.

Young people are shared

Age is also a differentiation factor. If 73% of 65 and over think that France lacks courage against Algeria, there are only 54% of them agreeing among 25-34 year olds. A more exacerbated opinion in men (72%) than among women (57%) should also be noted.
