This year, “the favorite village of the French” goes on the roads of France to discover villages of exceptional beauty and wealth. This is the case for the 14 villages in the running.

Throughout the program presented by Stéphane Bern this Wednesday at 9:10 p.m. on France 3, the public will discover the classification of this edition, and the village which will succeed Collioure, in Occitanie. Heritage, gastronomy, crafts: the fourteen selected villages compete in charms! Who will be the big winner of the “favorite village of the French 2025”? 20 Minutes presents these exceptional places in pictures.

Classified among the most beautiful villages in France, Saint-Antoine l'Abbaye is one of the jewels of Isère. Nestled at the gates of the Vercors massif, the village is famous for its abbey whose history begins in 1070, while a local lord brings back the relics of Saint-Antoine the Egyptian.
