The Tax Employee Union, an element of the Canada Public Service Alliance (AFPC-SEI), said the notice to negotiate with the Canada Revenue Agency (ARC) on behalf of 31,000 members throughout the country. This marks the first step in the negotiation process of the collective agreement.
The negotiation committee will meet at the end of July to study the claims presented by local sections and members, and the negotiation team will be chosen. Once the claims have been compiled, AFPC-SEI will contact the employer to establish the calendar of negotiations.
Whether they work in a contact center, a tax office, a national center for verification and collection or a tax center, our members from across the country expect the employer to be ready to negotiate a fair contract which reflects the current working climate and recognizes the balance between work and private life.
The current collective agreement expired on October 31, 2025.
We will keep you informed of progress made throughout the process.
