Of 7 to 11 July 2025, depending on the weather conditions, and for a period of approximately one week, urgent maintenance work will be carried out on the section of the main road H10 between Rochefort and Bregot (level crossing) in order to guarantee the safety of the users and users, as well as the sustainability of the coating during the next two to three winters.
The sector concerned by the work provided, from Rochefort to Bregot, has daily traffic of 4,000 vehicles. The latest light maintenance work was carried out in 2009, either sixteen years ago and consisted of a cold micro -road, or a superficial treatment.
A draft repair and complete redevelopment of this sector was put to the public inquiry in the spring of 2024 with, as a target, an achievement from 2025. This project is currently blocked by oppositions, forcing the Ponts et Chaussées (SPCH) service to undertake urgent maintenance work.
Chaussée closures and reduced speed
The work in question will consist in applying various types of superficial coating according to the level of degradation of the treated sector. Today planned in July 7 and 11, 2025, the interventions to be carried out will require, for the safety of users and users, as well as that of the staff engaged on the site, a lowering of the speed limitation at 50 km/h and the complete closure of the road for two to three days, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. These interventions being very dependent on weather conditions, they may have to be postponed while awaiting better conditions.
The Pont et Chaussées service already thanks the users and users for their understanding and benevolence as to the disadvantages linked to the restrictive conditions of this work, and pray to them to comply with the temporary signaling which will be implemented.
