A man in their twenties was killed during a shooting in a Brossard park on the night of Wednesday to Thursday. The victim, Cédrick Bélizaire, was involved in several conflicts and considered by the authorities as a member of a rue de Montréal gang.
The agents of the Police Service of the Agglomeration of Longueuil (SPAL) intervened on Wednesday around 11 p.m. in a park near Boulevard Marie-Victorin, in Brossard. “Shorts had been reported as well as a man injured by firearm,” said agent Marie Beauvais, a public in the police.

This is Cédrick Bélizaire, confirmed the SPAL. The 27-year-old was considered by police as a member of Popteam, a Montreal-North gang. He had several criminal history in terms of pimping.
According to initial information, the victim went to the park accompanied by other people. It was at this point that he was reached by firearm projectiles.
SPAL investigators will question witnesses in the coming hours. No arrest has been made at the moment.
