Why choose a Vé? Between convictions, calculations and comfort
If the desire to reduce its environmental footprint remains a frequently quoted motive, it is not the only one. Many electromobilists are attracted to driving pleasure, on -board technology and long -term savings.
According to a study by JD Power Canada (2024), fuel and maintenance savings are the first arguments mentioned by the owners. In addition, 90 % of them estimate that their costs of use have significantly decreased since the passage to electric. Rolling, silence, and instant accelerations also strengthen the user experience.
But despite the enthusiasm of current users, the obstacles to adoption remain: insufficient perceived autonomy, purchase price, uncertainty on batteries and lack of fast terminals, especially outside urban centers. These concerns still slow down a large part of potential buyers – especially those who cannot recharge at home.
In short, adopting a Vé today is often a thoughtful, even strategic choice, where ecology, finances and comfort meet … But where certain barriers must still fall to convince the last hesitant.
