And the manufacturer could reserve a surprise this year. The latest Build of Oneui 8, the new version of the overlay based on Android 16, contains several images of what the rumor baptized Galaxy G Fold.

These are not visuals of the aircraft, but animations which still allow an idea of the design of this smartphone, the particularity of which is to fold in three parts. On the outer side, the central pane contains a screen surmounted by a punch containing a photo sensor for selfies.
The left -wing shutter has the photo block with three sensors, which recalls that of the current Galaxy Z Fold. The right -wing shutter presents … Nothing special? In any case, no visible screen. Finally, the inner side incorporates the foldable screen with two hinges; Once the smartphone is folded, the right rear panel is supposed to be in the center of the sandwich.
The difference with the Mate XT of Huawei, the first “Tri-Fold” smartphone which is not a prototype, lies in the folding mechanism, as recalled Android Authority. The two hinges of the Samsung smartphone fold inwards, while Huawei’s model has a hinge that folds inwards, and the other outwards (they form an “S” fold).
Samsung obviously did not confirm that this “Galaxy G Fold” will be presented next week. But the manufacturer telegraphed an ad at the start of the year, while shining a three -part smartphone. During the MWC lounge, Samsung had also presented a concept “Flex G” very similar to this device.
