He is said to be the baby’s grandfather, according to Kingsville police. Their suspicions quickly focused on a young girl, who were seen in the early evening in the supermarket, then to the toilet, a piece in which she had remained about 40 minutes before leaving around 9:50 p.m., barely half an hour before the child’s discovery. The teenager’s car, 17, was found in the supermarket parking lot shortly before 11 p.m.
The police then found not far from there the girl, who had probably just gave birth, and her father. If she was hospitalized, Jerry Lee Martinez was arrested by the local authorities to abandon and endanger a child in negligence.
