Explosion at the University of Geneva, an injured person
This Tuesday morning, an individual was injured following an explosion in the Science II building.

- An injured doctoral student was transported to the emergency room without committed vital prognosis.
- The accidental mixture of two substances has incorporated four other people.
- The evacuation of the Science II building lasted only about twenty minutes.
According to the RTSan explosion in a laboratory of the Sciences II building, at the University of Geneva, occurred this morning at 9:15 am following an error of manipulation, the doctoral student at the origin of the explosion was injured and transported to the hospital, but his vital prognosis is not engaged.
The accident, of small intensity, is due to the association of two products which should not have been mixed. Four other people were inconvenienced by the explosion, their state of health has been checked.
The university building had to be evacuated for about twenty minutes, so that the firefighters ensure that nothing can spread. The individuals were then able to return to the premises.
For the time being, the police have not yet expressed themselves on the nature of the products manipulated. An investigation is underway.
