Some theater shows to see this summer in Quebec


Children

Marie-France Lambert, Monique Spaziani and Richard Thériault play Rose, Adèle and Robert in Childrena thriller in the form of a closed camera written by Lucy Kirkwood and staged by Véronique Côté. The play recounts the improbable reunion of three retired nuclear engineers, in a world which must compose with the damage of an environmental disaster.

Juliette & Mathieu

Noémie Godin-Vigneau, Zoé Boudou and Patrice Dubois are the distribution of the project Juliette & Mathieu.

The PàP Theater offers for the summer a theatrical event made up of two distinct pieces, one signed by Juliana Léveillé-Trudel and the other by Jean-François Aubé. The two works, which question our relationship to the built, natural, family and cultural heritage, are carried by the same distribution of five actors. Patrice Dubois and Gabrielle Lessard sign the staging of this show set to music by Salomé Leclerc.

In Carleton-sur-Mer, from July 22 to August 8, and at the Bic Theater, from August 14 to 18. Also to landslides on September 13

Raymond mechanics

Roger la Rue, here photographed in 2015, is the distribution of Raymond mechanics.

Located in Saint-Mathieu-de-Belœil, the Théâtre des Hirondelles presents a text by Stéphan Allard all summer (which also signs the staging). His title: Raymond mechanics. Roger the street embodies here Raymond, a good living mechanic and head of a mismatched family, who dreams of hitting the road for Memphis. He is accompanied on stage by Alex Perron, Myriam Leblanc, Geneviève Rochette and Lucien Ratio.

The room May contain traces of ego was a great success last summer.

Great success last summer, the play May contain traces of ego is back at Marjolaine. This comedy signed by six authors features six adolescence friends who organize reunion during a personal development retirement led by one of them. Geneviève Brouillette, Catherine Proulx-Lemay, Valérie Blais, Catherine Paquin-Béchard, Ève Pressault and Joëlle Lanctôt share the scene. Marc St-Martin signs the staging.

The closet

Another success last summer back on the boards, The closet Settles all summer in Rougemont, then in Cowansville. Written by the Frenchman Francis Veber, this comedy staged by Alain Zouvi recounts the tortuous path that the life of François Pignon takes, an accountant about to be dismissed. To save his post, he decides to make believe that he is homosexual. However, this lie will shake up the prejudices of his colleagues. Sébastien Dodge, Sébastien Jacques and Hugo Giroux are in particular part of the distribution.

From June 25 to July 26 at the Théâtre de Rougemont and 1is As of August 17 at the Diffusion Espace in Cowansville

Strong mustard

Nathalie Mallette, Patrice Coquereau, Jean-Denis Beaudoin, Jeanne Bellefeuille and Véronique Savoie share the scene of the Beaumont St-Michel theater this summer with Moutarde Forte, a comedy signed Simon Briney and directed by Robert Bellefeuille. The play tells the efforts of Gilles, a successful entrepreneur, who tries to win back his wife, at the risk of revealing a secret that he would have preferred to keep for him.

Until August 16 at the Beaumont St-Michel Theater
