Three people died in a village you north you Tarn On the day of Sunday, July 27, 2025, according to our colleagues from La Dépêche du Midi. Information confirmed by the Albi prosecutor’s office to Occitania news.
According to the local daily life, two people were first killed in Labastide-Gabausse, a small village of around 500 inhabitants, near Carmaux, north of Albi.
Large means have been deployed by the gendarmerie forces. Finally, the suspect would have committed suicide.
Out of the family setting
“This is the main hypothesis, a double murder followed by a suicide,” confirms Stéphanie Bazart, the public prosecutor of Albi, Occitania news.
The facts occurred “outside the family framework”, underlines the prosecution. “This is the investigation that will determine the reasons,” adds the prosecutor. The first two victims are A 65 -year -old man and a 25 -year -old woman. The suspect is a man born in 1969.
Inquiry for murder
An investigation was opened from the murder leader. The case remains for the moment in the hands of the Albi prosecution and has not been transmitted to the Criminal Pole of Toulouse.
