Only 24 hours before the start of the Festivoix!

The 32nd edition of the Trois-Rivières Festivoix will set in motion tomorrow (June 26) with the shows of the three agreements, Sara Dufour, Bobby Bazini, Marie-Chantal Toupin, Mike Clay, Éric Masson, Mathieu Gélinas and Dominic Laroche.

On the program: 140 performances, including 10 presented in the CHSLDs and residences. This year, the programming has also been improved by a day, so that the event will offer its programming over ten days rather than nine.

To do this, the organization of the festivoix mobilized the largest budget in its history established at $ 7.5 million, which represents an increase of 15% compared to 2024. Of these $ 7.5 million, 83% are autonomous income and 17% of the subsidies of the various government levels.

“We are working hard to try to limit the impact to festival -goers because the cachet costs and production costs have enormously climbed in recent years. We still try to do their best to maintain this ambition of accessibility in our prices for passports and tickets, ”says Thomas Grégoire, director general of the Trois-Rivières Festivoix.

“It is our most important programming in terms of figures, with 140 shows and 613 artists that we will welcome. It testifies to our artistic ambition to want to discover different styles of music, to touch all musical styles and to introduce artists, while allowing festival -goers to go see the artists they already know. This diversity is our strength, ”he says.

Almost half of the festival -goers participating in this 32e edition come from outside the region. They will arrive from the four corners of Quebec and all other Canadian provinces, but also from the United States, Germany, Austria, Spain, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Argentina, Costa Rica and Dominican Republic.

Free shows

In addition, around fifty services will be offered free from June 26 to July 6, as much on the ephemeral scenes, which will host emerging artists as well as 2frères and Sara Dufour, as on the side of the Chapel scene or even the platform scene, whose performances are free at 6 p.m. The Festivoix site will also be accessible free of charge on July 1 as part of Canada’s Day.

“The main site will be open to everyone. On the main stage, QW4RTZ will make a special show that was designed just for us. There will be many guests with them on stage, ”says Thomas Grégoire.

It is Anik St-Pierre who will ensure the first part at 8:15 pm, while earlier in the evening, Véronique Labbé will offer her show “Shania Twain Forever” on the scene of the monastery, Anyma Ora ‘will be on the stage of the garden and Éléonore Lagacé will ignite the courtyard of the court. At 11 p.m., Alice Bro’s show planned for the urban scene with a clover will also be accessible for free.

Watch out for fraud

Although the evening of June 27 is full, daily tickets are still available for the other days of the Festivoix. These are online sale at www.festivoix.com and at the official point of sale at the Center Les Rivières (cash). If there is any left, tickets will also be on sale at the entrances to the event site.

Faced with the popularity of the festival, it is not uncommon to find a person who sells his passport or who rents him to the evening. The director general of the Festivoix reminds people to remain cautious when they acquire a passport from a stranger.

“It’s been a long time since people who buy a passport lend him to a family member when they do not intend to go there one evening and we are very comfortable with that. However, when people buy passports or tickets on social networks to people they do not know, there is a risk, notes Mr. Grégoire. We also sent messages in this regard on our social networks because nothing guarantees that this person has not sold it to ten people, for example, or that she sold it but still decided to come to the evening finally. But in the end, this passport can only be scanned once at the entrance. We do not want our festival -goers to get having some ill -intention. »»
