The role of mercy as a central element of the sacrament is evoked in the preface by Mgr Rino Fisichella Pro-prefect of the Dicastery for Evangelization. He invites young people to live these Roman days as an opportunity for renewal, by integrating the experience of peace and reconciliation in their daily lives.
Saturday August 2 in Tor Vergata, these young people will participate in the prayer vigil with the Holy Father, during which three of them will ask questions to Léon XIV on the themes of friendship, courage and spirituality. The next day, Sunday August 3 at 9:00 am, the sovereign pontiff will celebrate the Holy Mass on the Tor Vergata campus, still outdoors.
