Ten people killed by Israeli strikes and fire, according to the Civil Defense of Gaza
The spokesman for the Civil Defense of the Gaza Strip, Mahmoud Bassal, reported ten people killed on Saturday, including eight by Israeli army fire, near aid centers.
At least six bodies, including that of a child, were transferred to the Al-Awda hospital, to the refugee camp in Nousseirat, as well as 30 injured, he told the France-Presse agency. The victims were targeted by Israeli fire during gatherings of civilians near the distribution point for the Gaza Humaninian Foundation (GHF) on the main road Salah al-Din, in the center of the Gaza band, said Mahmoud Bassal. Two other people, including a woman, were killed by Israeli forces near another aid center in northwestern Rafah, southern Gaza, he also said.
According to witnesses, several thousand people gathered on Saturday morning around GHF aid centers, an opaque Israeli-American organization in the center of the Gaza Strip and in the areas west of Rafah and Khan Younès, in the south, in the hope of obtaining food.
A woman was also killed by an air strike “Who targeted an apartment in front of the Al-Khair hospital”in Khan Younès, according to the spokesperson for the Civil Defense. A young man was also killed by a missile pulled by an Israeli drone, who targeted a group of civilians near the Abu-Helou school, which houses people in the Al-Boureij refugee camp, according to Mahmoud Bassal.
The Israeli army did not comment on this information immediately.
