On Monday, when he returned to London with his parents, the young boy got lost and managed to embark for Italy.
Investigators scratch their heads: how could he have done? A British teenager, who had involuntarily separated from his family at Menorca airport, an island in Spain, has embarked on a flight for Italy Instead of his return flight for London. The 15 -year -old was initially a plane with the Tui company from the island to the British capital, reports The Guardian.
The young boy landed in Milan
The boy’s parents quickly gave the alert but when the police examined the video surveillance images, she discovered that the young boy had managed to embark on a flight to Milan Malpensa …. without ticket. “The airport had already activated its missing child alert system, but it was disabled after confirmation that the young man was on the way to Italy,” said the police.
According to some sources, inside the flight to Milan, the airline staff noticed the presence of a passenger without a ticket. Easyjet said that the latter – the young boy – had been welcomed by his staff and the local authorities. The next day, the boy’s mother, who took an emergency plane, came to get him.
Easyjet, particularly surprised by the case, opened an investigation. “We are investigating with the airport and our floor assistance service provider in Mahon on how a young passenger was able to travel without support on the bad flight to Milan this morning,” said the company.
