A couple of Moldovans on vacation in Sardinia was struck by a tragic event on Wednesday August 6. Their son Danir, 4 years old, died of hot, trapped in their vehicle parked in full sun.
The child found in the rear seat of the car
The boy would have moved away from his holiday home located in Olmedo, northwest of Sardinia without his parents, resting, noticing. The couple took a few minutes to realize the disappearance of the child.
It was his mother who found it, in the back seat of the family car, in which the temperature exceeded 50 degrees. Danir was the victim of a serious discomfort, reports local newspaper Sassari Today. The child was urgently transferred to the intensive care of the pediatric unit of a Sassari hospital. Doctors diagnosed him with a heat stroke due to prolonged exposure to high temperatures.
An open investigation
In coma, Danir was moved by air to the Gemelli university hospital in Rome this Friday, August 8. But the neurological lesions caused by the insolation proved to be irreversible and the doctors found the death of the child this Monday, August 11.
