A driver is wanted after having injured three teenagers and a woman in Colomiers this Friday late afternoon. He had refused to comply after speeding on the Toulouse device. Cynophilic brigades are trying to find its mark.
This late Friday afternoon, a dramatic accident occurred in Colomiers, near Toulouse. A 10 -year -old woman and daughter were seriously injured and urgently transported to CHU Purpan. Two other children, aged 12 and 13, were also affected, more slightly. Fortunately, the vital prognosis of the victims is not committed.
The sequence begins with a classic road control. Around 4 p.m., biker gendarmes spot a 4×4 Mercedes registered in Germany circulating at high speed on the Toulouse device. The radar records a significant excess speed. The police then tried to intercept the driver in order to verify his driving license and the insurance of the vehicle. But the latter refuses to comply and engages in a high -speed leak.
He runs away …
The chase is emerging towards Colomiers. Despite the density of traffic at the end of July, the fugitive maintains a dangerous look by engaging in the François-Mitterrand esplanade. Dense traffic made any accident potentially dramatic. This is what happens shortly before 5 p.m.: A car carrying a family is violently struck.

The shock is brutal. Passers -by immediately rushed towards damaged vehicles, while residents alert the emergency services. Firefighters quickly supported the four injured, including a woman and three children aged 10 to 13. Two of them have serious injuries.
The driver, on the other hand, remains impassive and fled on foot, abandoning his 4×4 before the arrival of the national police. A research system is immediately deployed in the sector. Cynophile teams inspect the surroundings, but in the early evening, the man remains not found. The Toulouse prosecutor’s office opened an investigation, entrusted to the police. The German vehicle registration could however make it possible to guide the investigations: civil servants seek to determine if it belongs to the suspect, if it has been rented or stolen.
