The French 3D shooting championships took place this weekend in Boigny sur Bionne (Loiret). Of the 562 archers present at the event, two Aulne archers were on the starting line, Bernard Motreff in senior 3 arc naked and Gwen Le Bellec in senior 2 free arc. Despite a great performance with a fourth place on Saturday, Bernard Motreff finished in 11th place, while Gwen Le Bellec, first in the qualifying classification after the numerous participations in the Sunday competitions (the three best scores of the season being retained to qualify for the French championships), finished 8th.
“If this time there is no podium, I am still very proud of the new participation of our archers in a national event,” comments Yannick Bizien, the president of the Archers de l’Alne.
Head for the following season
The next season is preparing, with a new organization of training from September 12, and in particular an adult and young joint course (from 10 years old), Friday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., with free training for all from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The club will be present at the Pleyben association forums on August 30, and of course that of Châteauneuf on September 6.
