First, the mode DLSS Override (which makes it possible to force the use of the transforming model instead of the previous CNN including in the games not officially taking charge of the first city) is now global, that is to say that it is no longer necessary to adjust it/activate for each compatible game, it is necessary, however, that a DLSS option (whatever its version) is initially present in the game. You therefore activate it with a click within NV AP, and it works on all games present and to come. From a native DLSS 4 native point of view, we can cite Resident Evil Requiem (and even path tracing), Borderlands 4 (Bundle-isé recently), Pragmatic (Ray Tracing also). Cinder City, Phantom Blade Zero / The Outer Worlds 2 / Cronos The New Dawn will add to that Multi Frame Generation. Black State will arrive with the DLSS 4 duo and Ray Tracing, Hell is Us will have the DLSS 4, while Directive 8020 will offer the DLSS 4 / Multi Frame Generation et Path Tracing. We come to the second novelty, the Smooth Motion. Nvidia had already activated it for the RTX 50s, it now works with the RTX 40, we hope that it will be extended to the RTX 30 and RTX 20. It is activated via NV APP, and offers an image generation assisted by IA, via the pilot, as AMD does with AFMF. It will be interesting to test it, to see if the quality is there, if the performance boost follows, if it is constant or as the passenger AFMF and dependent on the movements / direction of the central character, and if it is devoid of artefacts.
