An important firefighter system was mobilized this Sunday, August 17, around 4 p.m., near Vestric-et-Candiac for a fire. The fire started from a tractor at the RN 113 level, before spreading to another car.
Upon arrival, the flames threatened other vehicles, including caravans which were nearby, as well as the neighboring vegetation.
300 m² of burned vegetation
But the disaster was quickly mastered by the thirty soldiers of fire. In total, 300 m² of vegetation burned. During this intervention, the firefighters were supported by Forest and Urban Vehicles, a helicopter – which carried out four tears -, an SDIS 30 recognition plane and a command vehicle. The gendarmerie was also on site to secure the premises.
