American actor Jerry Adler, known in particular for having played in the popular series “Les Soprano” and in the film “Mysterious murder in Manhattan”, died on Saturday, reports several American media.
The cause of his death is not known for the moment.
His friend Frank J. Reilly confirmed the news first reported in a notice of death of the Memorial Chapel riverside, according to NBC News.
“You know him for his many roles and appearances in series and films, he said on X. Not so bad for an actor who only started his acting career at 65.”
Jerry Adler played the role of Hesh Rabkin, the confidant of a mafia, in “Les Soprano” among others.
He also appeared in around thirty episodes of the series “The Good Wife” and “Rescue Me, the heroes of September 11”.
In the cinema, he notably played in “Mysterious murder in Manhattan” and “Small Confidences (to my shrink)”.
