A dramatic traffic accident took place last weekend in Normandy, between Ouistreham and Caen, reports Normandy here, this Tuesday, August 19.
According to the elements obtained by our colleagues, a 65 -year -old woman died after being struck hard by a car and while walking on an emergency stop band.
It would have started in the middle of the night, around 3 am, when the victim returned from an evening with her husband.
An argument would have broken out and the sixty -something would then have decided to leave the car which had parked on a rest area, by the roadside, and to walk along an emergency stop band. It was then that the drama occurred.
Mortally mowed by a 45-year-old motorist who came home from work-and in whom no trace of alcohol was detected-the victim was found in cardio-respiratory arrest.
The latter unfortunately could not be resuscitated.
