We talked about it a year ago already, even if the project has already been known to lovers of Radical Fish Games for a long time now, the studio tends to share a whole bunch of quick images and videos via its social networks in order to allow everyone to follow the progress of the project. And the project is moving well! The German studio took advantage of the secret Sauce Showcase to unveil a new gameplay video for its next title. The first images cannot hide the evidence: the spirit CrossCode is always there. It should be, once again, an action/RPG game for above, with a combat and displacement system obviously similar to that offered in 2018. But visually, the difference is notable: Alabaster Dawn offers HD environments (sets, effects, animations) combined with pixel-art for the design of the characters, a result closer to an assumed 2.5D.
As a bonus, the studio took advantage of this announcement to reveal that a demo version of the game will be available next September, on Steam only. Because yes, for the time being, only a PC version is planned for the game. But we recall that CrossCode had ended up going out on absolutely all the platforms: we obviously hope for a spell similar to Alabaster Dawn.
