The gradual cancellations of the carrier and Red Air Canada are spreading now until August 19.
Air Canada announces that all Air Canada and Red Air Canada flights remain suspended, given that the Canadian Public Service Syndicate (SCFP) has not enjoined its on -board agents to resume work, in accordance with the Canadian Industrial Relations Council order (CCRI). For its part, the CCRI also ordered on -board agents to return to work immediately.
Customers whose flights are canceled are notified and are offered different options, including a full refund, a credit for a future trip or a new reservation with another air carrier.
Customers are asked to avoid going to the airport, unless you have a confirmed reservation for a flight from another carrier. The airline now estimates that 500,000 the number of customers will be affected.
Air Canada Express flights operated by Jazz and PAL continue to be insured normally.
