Alternating project management assistant (apprenticeship contract)

Recognized public utility association created in 1994, Sidance has the initial objective of the financing and development of scientific research and HIV fighting programs, in France and in limited or intermediate resources.

In West and Center Africa and Eastern Europe, Sidaction provides financial support to 33 associations in 18 countries allowing them to implement projects aimed at improving access to care and prevention. Technical support programs are also developed in order to strengthen the expertise of associative teams in a large area of skills, particularly in terms of pediatric HIV, sexual health and reproduction, quality of reception and the management of populations living with and presentation to HIV.

In France, 68 associations are supported, carrying out projects mainly in the support of audiences facing HIV and very precarious situations, as well as in the field of prevention with populations very exposed to the risk of contamination.

In the scientific field, 42 young researchers and around forty research teams are supported to conduct their work, mainly in basic research but also in the social sciences. Since the beginning of 2025, 6 major projects have also been supported as part of a common call for projects with a Dutch organization on the “HIV Cure”. Sidaction participates in continuing education and the enhancement of research work with the organization of the University of young researchers and scientific days.

The association also conducts awareness -raising actions with the general public on the issue of HIV, the fight against discrimination based on serological status, gender or sexual orientation, and on sexuality education for young people.

With an annual budget of 18 million euros, Sidaction is a major player in the fight against AIDS, in France and in limited resources. A 2025 – 2028 strategic framework was adopted by the Board of Directors in order to respond to the evolutionary challenges of the fight against HIV in France and abroad and to gradually expand its field of action.
